6 DAYS EXPLORE YOUR TRIPS IN CAMBODIA
TourSummary

1 Day Tour (Inside Angkor Complex)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the temples on the recommended one-day itinerary include most famous is Angkor Wat temple, which is the largest religious monument and one of seven wonders of the world! Angkor Wat was built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. The temple is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, the home of the gods.

After Angkor Wat we will continue to Angkor Thom the ancient capital in the 12th century. This massive complex includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk; Bayon Temple unique for its 54 towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Bodhisattva Avolokitesvara the God of compassion; Baphuon (recently re-opened after years of restoration); Phimeanakas in the Royal Enclosure; the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Also Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon temple.

Lunch time for your choice of local restaurants.

In the afternoon, we'll visit Ta Prohm, famous for being featured in the Tomb Raider Movie and one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery with massive trees taking root in and around the walls of the temple complex.

We'll move on from there to Banteay Kdei Temple. Prasat Banteay Kdei means "A Citadel of Chambers" or "Citadel of Monk's cells." This is a Buddhist temple in Cambodia located southeast of Ta Prohm and east of Angkor Thom. Built in the mid 12th to early 13th centuries AD during the reign of Jayavarman VII (who was posthumously given the title "Maha paramasangata pada"), it is in the Bayon architectural style, similar in plan to Ta Prohm and Preah Khan, but less complex and smaller.

Afterward we'll enjoy a spectacular sunset at Pre Rup temple far from the crowded spots with busloads of tourists.

 Over night in your hotel.

2 Day Tours  (Inside Angkor Complex)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will head out to the beautiful Cambodian countryside to see the “gem” of the Angkor area, the pretty temple of Banteay Srei. The so-called “Citadel of the Women” remains the best preserved temple in Cambodia. It displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art as this small temple is noted for its truly remarkable fine bas-reliefs. Banteay Srei is unique in that it is constructed of pink sandstone, which is seen nowhere else in Angkor.

On the way back, you will have the possibility to stop at local communities along the way and your guide will help you to interact with the local community to learn about the way of life here. Seize the opportunity to see how rice paper is produced and to taste Palm Wine and Palm Sugar, which are a popular local produce (seasonal).

We'll continue to visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete complexes at Angkor due to using the “anastylosis” restoration method. The name Samre refers to an ethnic group of mountain people, who inhabited the region at the base of Phnom Kulen and were probably related to the Khmers. No inscriptions have been found for this temple, but the style of most of the architecture is of the classic art of the middle period similar to Angkor Wat. The proportions of Banteay Samre are splendid. A unique feature is an interior moat with laterite paving, which when filled with water must have given an ethereal atmosphere to the temple.

Lunch time for your choice of local restaurants.

In The afternoon, we'll visit Eastern Mebon temple, it’s a temple in the central of Eastern Baray, then visit Ta Som, Neak Poan and Preah Khan.

Typically the day begins after your breakfast and continues until lunch at which time you'll be brought back to Siem Reap to have lunch, do a little shopping, take a swim, or whatever suits you to escape the mid-day heat. Touring begins again at about 2:30 and continues until dusk.

If you want to stay out all day through the break, it's possible to have lunch at one of the local restaurants near the temples.

The day could also include sunrise, which costs extra ( $15 for Tour Guide  and Transportation ).

3Day tours explore in  ( Beng Mealea, Koh Ker, Phreah Vihear temple)

With the crowd at the most famous Angkor Complex sites often being counted in the 1000's, many visitors are unaware that there are temples lying further out where the crowds can often be counted on just one hand.We we'll visit Beng Mealea Temple around 70km from Siem Reap. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and feel like an explorer when you discover the completely overgrown temple. Undiscovered for centuries, Beng Mealea temple has only recently been made accessible and remains unrestored. It is one of the very few temples you'll have the opportunity to climb through.

After that we will continue to the 10th century capital of Koh Ker. While there are known to be over 200 temples within the boundaries of this ancient city, only 96 have been discovery thus far. In fact, most of your morning is likely to be spent at just one: Prasat Thom. Though much of this temple is partially buried, and visitor numbers vary from day to day, the numbers are always low here. It is not uncommon from you to have this ancient site all to yourself . At the far end of Prasat Thom there is towering pyramid, somewhere reminiscent of Mayan or Inca architecture.

Lunch time at the local restaurant

In the afternon, you will visit wonderful temple of Preah Vihea, which was built on the peak of the mountain near the border of Thailand – Cambodia. The tour will depart early in the morning and be completed later in the evening by returning to Siem Reap for accommodation. Temple of Preah Vihear, which took over 300 years to complete construction by some khmer famous king, was first constructed from 893 by King Yasovarman who led the country from 889 to probably 910. The majority of the building of the temple was created by King Suryavarman I (1002 – 1049) and finally the temple was completed during the reign of Great King Suryavarman II (1113 – 1150), the famous king who was the founder of the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap province,

4 Day tours  ( Banteay Chhmar temples Group)
Is the historical site which was built between 12th and 13th centuries during the reign of King, Jar Varman VII. The temple is located at Thmar Puok District, along the National Road No 69A, about 59 kilimeters north of the province town. Nowadays, the temple is damaged because of war and gangs of offendees who have stolen statues and the temple stone for selling them to Thailand. In addition, there are some other temples in Ban Teay Mean Chey province such as Pra Sat Preah Chhor and Pra Sat Pram as well that have mostly been abandoned and not arranged.
At Present, Ban Teay Chhmar temple is the main tourist attractive site of the province in luring foreign tourists to visit. In the far northwestern corner of Cambodia the looted Angkorian temple of Banteay Chhmar sits teetering on the brink of a revival. A paved road scheduled to start construction this year is bound to increase visitors. Craig Gerard braves the bumpy journey to find a slice of Cambodian tranquillity. Commissioned by King Jayavarman VII and situated some 15km from the Thai border, Banteay Chhmar is often compared to Angkor Thom in size and structure. The complex is full of sandstone bas-reliefs that tell stories of ancient Cambodian battles. Witnessing the preservation of the temple and experiencing the beauty of the local community will reward the adventurous traveller.
